Please be aware of a nationwide scam targeting dentists.  We have been made aware that there have been calls made to dentists where the caller states they are from the Mississippi Board of Dental Examiners. They are asking for personal information or stating that the licensee is being investigated and can pay a fee over the phone to avoid a disciplinary action.

Please do not give out any personal information.  The staff of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners will NEVER ask for a payment for any purposes over the phone, nor would we ask personal information as we would have access to any identifying information for a licensee.
