CONSUMER ALERT:  Unlicensed Persons Offering Dental Services

Please be aware that there are unlicensed individuals in the State of Mississippi offering dental services, such as composite veneers, partials, and chipped tooth repair.  These individuals typically advertise only on social media platforms and often require payment in advance before informing the consumer where to meet for the dental work. 

Mississippi law requires that these services only be performed by a licensed dentist.  The Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners is charged to ensure all licensed dentists in Mississippi meet strict educational and examination requirements.  These safeguards do not exist for unlicensed persons.  To ensure that dental services are lawfully performed by a Mississippi licensed dentist, consumers should verify licensure status with the Board by CLICKING HERE.
